BLUE RINGED OCTOPUS
This little critter is in a league of it’s own! Its venom is 1,000 times more powerful than cyanide, and this golf-ball sized powerhouse packs enough venom to kill 26 humans within minutes. What a beauty though …
Blue Ringed Octopuses aren’t very threatened which is great news! However they are still affected by ocean acidification, destruction of habitats and over fishing. Let’s admire these guys from a distance and hope to keep them plentiful in our oceans!
